LHS Rocktools (Australia) has been servicing the Australian market for over 15 years. The initial involvement was with Mt Isa Mines supplying excess of 30,000 45mm x R32 button bits and 33mm x 12 degree cross bits per annum through their subsidiary supply company Mintrade.

Since the involvement direct with MIM, LHS Rocktools (Australia) has been supplying rock drilling equipment through a number of re-sellers over the years. Over this period the quality of the product has steadily improved to the point of now having product that is suited to the Australian hard rock conditions. LHS Rocktools (Australia) has developed a good reputation for drill bits - we are now developing the remainder of the drill string for both surface and underground drilling. Results so far have been very encouraging to the extent of us having one of our underground customers using a complete LHS drill string for both their development and production drilling.

Because of the competitiveness of supplying drilling equipment into the Australian market the LHS factory has set up its own office to market and service the product "factory direct". The name of this company is LHS Rocktools (Australia) Pty Ltd.

LHS Rocktools (Australia) has a large number of customers involved in both surface and underground top hammer drilling and has developed a solid reputation for Chinese manufactured product. Our main selling point is "High Performance - Low Cost".

LHS Rocktools (Australia) Pty Ltd has their Head Office in Kewdale, Perth Western Australia as well as warehousing facilities in Kalgoorlie and Brisbane. The Head Office in Kewdale is run by Jack Wang, a Chinese National now a resident of Perth. He has over 16 years experience both in the factory in China as well as direct with the industry in Australia. Jack is the main contact with the factory and is heavily focussed on research and development and design change while working very closely with the end user.
